Creating your first multi-step sequence

Email sequences allow you to automate follow-ups, ensuring no lead slips through the cracks. A well-designed sequence can double your reply rate.

Steps to create a sequence

1. Go to the Sequences tab and click New Sequence.
2. Name your sequence and select the sender account.
3. Step 1: Write your initial cold email. Use variables like {{first_name}} for personalization.
4. Step 2: Add a delay (e.g., "Wait 3 days").
5. Step 3: Write a follow-up email. Choose whether it should be a reply in the same thread or a new subject line.
6. Activate the sequence and add prospects to it.
